Twiz O'Meter, the screen that says a lot about your Twizy

Twiz O'Meter, the screen that says a lot about your Twizy
By simply plugging it into your Twizy's OBD socket, Twiz O'Meter is a touch screen that provides a wealth of information that happily complements that of the very brief original dashboard. Via a simple and intuitive interface, you can for example consult the precise remaining charge or the state of health of your batteries. Its gyroscope and Wi-Fi connection bring additional dimensions. It succeeds advantageously to Twizplay which had the same objective but was less complete and much more expensive, and which is no longer available.

Renault windows improvement kit : mounting instructions

No comments :

The Renault windows improvement kit includes seals to be placed on the front deflector to limit the air flow at this level and outside handles for not having to handle the zippers to open the door. It eventually complements the rear deflectors. All of this is of course available in the online shop.

An external handle !

No comments :
If your have chosen to equip your Twizy with the Renault windows, it is clear that, when you want to get into the car, the access to the door handle is not very easy because it requires the opening of the zip which also turns brittle over time.

Edit 24/02/2018
Renault has abandoned this project

Since a long time, the small world of Twizy hoped that the manufacturer has grave concerns of the problem. It seems to be the case.

At the quite important meeting between Twizy owners and Renault on last April 27, we had the opportunity to discover a new window prototype developed by Renault... but pictures were forbidden.

So, here is the very original principle of the side windows of the future, that I illustrated with a rough scheme.

LetsGo, a new complete solution to carry everything

4 comments :
LetsGo is the new luggage carrier, bicycle rack and roof bars set I created. It comes from the accumulated experience with its predecessors TriGo and MultiGo that it now replaces.

LetsGo is designed as modules. This way, you only use what you need, and if later you are missing an item, you can always add it!

Edit 02/01/2016

From 205€00.

How to remove scratches from windows and deflectors

No comments :

Twizy deflectors and windows are made of polycarbonat. In particular, the front deflectors are "anti-scratch" treated, which does not mean that there is no scratch at all. Say there is less.

So how to remove scratches that inevitably occur? I tested an household product, the famous Miror.
No miracles, but some effect.
